To open the 5 lb pail of Spa Shock, please follow these steps: Hold the pail securely with one hand, ensuring a firm grip. Using your other hand, locate the red tab on the top of the pail's cap. Gently lift the red tab with your finger. This action will release the cap's locking mechanism. With the red tab lifted, you can now turn the cap counterclockwise to unscrew it from the pail. Once the cap is fully unscrewed, you can lift it off to access the contents inside the pail.
